We had another good day with Juliana. She is such a good eater. She has tried and ate everything we fed her. She loves fruit, but who wouldn’t here? They are so succulent and sweet here. I miss being in a Tropical area because of that. You can eat the best fruits and vegetables. We have tried mangos, persimmons, guava, melon, dragon fruit, star fruit, oranges and bananas.
She also sleeps really well. She sleeps an average of 8 hours every night and takes two 1 hour naps during the day. We are really hoping she keeps this schedule once we get home.
Yesterday we went to a small Guangxi village about 30 minutes outside of Nanning to see what the country life is here in China. We went to an open market where they sell chickens, pigs, vegetables and live fish. This was a Zhuang village and Juliana is from the Zhuang people. They are very simple people and most are farmers. We visited one house and I was very emotional after we left the village.
Today is our last day in Nanning as we leave this afternoon to Guangzhou. We absolutely loved Nanning and its surrounding. It is so beautiful, clean and so colorful.
Nós tivemos um ótimo dia com a Juliana. Ela é muito comilona. Ela tentou e comeu de tudo que demos pra ela. Ela adora frutas, mas quem não adoraria. As frutas aqui são tão suculentas e doces. Eu sinto falta de morar em uma área tropical por causa disto. Você come das melhores frutas e legumes. Nós comemos mangas, caquis, goiabas, carambolas, laranjas, bananas e fruta dragão.
Ela também dorme muito bem. Ela dorme em média 8 a 10 horas por noite e tira duas sonecas de 1 hora por dia.. Esperamos que ela continue com estes horários quando chegarmos em casa.
Ontem nós fomos numa pequena vila aproximadamente uns 30 minutos de Nanning para ver como é a vida no campo aqui na China.Nós visitamos um mercado aberto, tipo feira onde eles vendem galinhas, porcos, legumes e peixes vivos.. Esta era uma vila do grupo étnico Zhuang e Juliana é deste grupo.Eles são pessoas muito simples e a maioria são fazendeiros ou trabalhadores do campo. Nós também visitamos uma das casas no vilarejo e eu sai muito emocionada de lá.Hoje é o nosso último dia em Nanning e vamos para Guangzhou hoje a tarde. Nós adoramos Nanning e os arredores. É tudo muito lindo, limpo e colorido.

So pleased to hear you were able to visit this village...we also did..and loved it.We truly loved Nanning and its people also,we cannot wait to one day return.
